For this spectacular event, our 12-piece showband performed at the stunning Armani Hotel in Dubai, with the breathtaking backdrop of the Burj Khalifa setting the scene for a night of disco and soul classics.
Dubai Luxury Event Entertainment
Luxury events deserve entertainment to match - and this event at the Armani Hotel Dubai was a perfect example. Golden Collective was booked by one of the UAE’s leading event planners, Altea Agency, for an international client visiting from Canada. The client originally hoped to bring in a London showband, but with travel costs involved, the budget simply didn’t allow for flying an entire band from the UK.
Bringing the London Showband Experience to Dubai
When the client learned that Laura, Golden Collective’s founder and lead singer, had previously worked with some of the top showbands in London before creating Golden Collective, everything clicked into place. Our mission from the beginning has been to bring the same world-class showband performance level to the Dubai events market - combining elite musicians, powerful vocals and high-energy performance with a luxury finish.
For this event, the client chose our 12-piece showband featuring three charismatic vocalists, a dynamic horn section and full rhythm section.
A Stunning Stage
The setting couldn’t have been more spectacular. The stage was set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Burj Khalifa, with guests enjoying incredible views of the Dubai fountains. It was one of those Dubai evenings where everything aligns - an incredible venue, a fantastic international crowd and a band ready to deliver a full show.
A Night of Disco and Soul
The brief from the client was disco, soul and classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s. With guests mostly aged between 40–60, this repertoire was the perfect choice. From the first groove-driven bassline to the final encore, the dance floor stayed full all night. This style of music is exactly where a large showband shines - horns blasting, vocal harmonies soaring and the rhythm section driving the party forward.
